<images name="Alembic Duets, 2005-2008"
description="This series began as a group of staged photographs, representing autobiographical allegories and remnants of folklore. This is the work that inspired me to go to graduate school and develop the work beyond the ego, beyond the self, beyond simple expressions into more critical thinking. Here are the formative stops along that path, in roughly chronological order."

<caption>Pills N Peeps</caption>
<medium>Digital C mural print, 2008. A sketch for an extensive installation, this digital photograph was a still life I took with another photograph of mine in the frame, 'Pioneer Roles.' The idea being that if you printed this large enough to cut the holes out of the photograph in the frame, you could create a meta-narrative where passerby are thereby invited to insert themselves not only into a historical stereotype but simultaneously into someone else’s private existence vis a vis this framed photograph by a bed. The language of the piece uses context, memory, projection and interrupted narratives to spin an infinite cycle of reformed identity.</medium>
